For over 30 years, Yirra Yaakin Theatre Company has championed Aboriginal voices, celebrating First Nations culture through the performing arts under the artistic leadership of Maitland Schnaars. We’re now seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead with strategic and cultural vision—strengthening our artistic impact, deepening community connections, and ensuring financial sustainability. This role calls for a passionate advocate who can build strong relationships across Aboriginal, government, business, and arts sectors, and open new pathways for funding and support. We’re looking for an energetic, thoughtful leader to work alongside our Artistic Director and guide a dedicated team committed to sharing powerful First Nations stories across the country.
