The Australian Ballet School

The Australian Ballet School (ABS) is Australia’s premier institution for vocational dance education, shaping the future of ballet through world-class training, health and wellbeing programs, and artistic excellence.

Following the appointment of a new Artistic Director and Head of School in 2024 and an uplift of federal government funding, the ABS is progressively undertaking a comprehensive strategic review encompassing: organisational structure, curriculum, digital transformation, facilities upgrades, and new creative initiatives.

The Board is seeking an Executive Director who is an experienced management all-rounder and strategic thinker.
